Can I add multiple recipients?
Yes, you can even mix email addresses and phone numbers.
Can old sms messages be forwarded?
No, but this is a feature that will likely be added in the future.
Do the SMS messages stay in my inbox/sent messages on my phone after forwarding?
Yes, they won’t be erased from your phone. We are working on adding more flexibility so that you would be able to forward your incoming texts and make them skip your inbox on your phone.
Will this app send my incoming SMSes to my Gmail address directly?
Not directly. They will still arrive to your phone, SMSForwarder will only forward texts reaching your phone.
Are my messages stored or forwarded via your server?
No, your messages are not touched by our server. They are forwarded via the Gmail using the SMTP protocol if you forward them to an email account, or via your mobile operator if SMS forwarding is configured. All communication between your phone and Gmail is encrypted.
Can I forward my outgoing SMSes?
Yes they are also forwarded. However, due to the way it works on Android, there will be some delay since we use polling for sent texts.
